Young Dancer's

Five years ago, Beyond the Movement decided to create a dance scholarship, and we called it the “Young Dancer’s Scholarship”. This scholarship gives dancer's who show great potential a chance to be award for their hard work. The Y.D.S. is open to all students and classes except creative movement for tots & Intro to Dance.

To be considered as a candidate you must have done all of the following:

Register at the beginning of the dance season and take two (2) separate paid classes throughout the entire dance season. Intro to dance is a combination class, it only counts if it is taken with another.

There are three [3] different award levels. If you are selected to receive the “Young Dancer’s Scholarship” it would be applied to the following dance year [2019/20].

You are chosen it is because you were on time for class, your attendance was high, no more than five [5] classes were missed (in a 40 week period of instruction), and you show willingness to participate in every portion of class to the best of our ability.

The Young Dancer’s Scholarship awarded levels are as follows:

Award of Gold~ three [3] Months of tuition free class

Award of Silver~ two [2] Months of tuition free class

Award of Bronze~ one [1] Month of tuition free class

The "Young Dancer’s Scholarship" will only be used within the last three (3) months of the 2019/20 season being April, May,and June. In order to keep this scholarship you cannot be absent more than five [5] classes prior to the scholarship taking effect for the year.

Parents/ Guardians because of your efforts and dedication, you have allowed your child to be a part of a great opportunity and receive this award. Acceptance of this scholarship m allows your child to learn the value of hard work, strength and consistency. And your children will continue to excel to new heights in dance!

This scholarship is valid with verification and enrollment in the Beyond the Movement in 2022 dance season and in continuing to meet the requirements listed above. If you choose not to re-enroll in the studio please notify Mrs. Ebonee, so we may offer this opportunity to another recipient.
